Father's Day...
June 19th is Father's Day, have you decided how you will celebrate this year? I myself have become increasingly aware of the time I have left with my father, and frankly sometimes I just don't want to think about it. Life without the man who has encouraged me when others laughed, makes me tear up.
His health is not what it used to be, so I want to make sure Father's Day is about the gifts you just are not able to buy in a store and wrap up. I want my dad to be happy on this day and to know how much I love him; another bottle of Old Spice, a Money Clip, or a Home Depot gift card just won't cut it this year.
Making Father's Day special and showing him how much his support, and unconditional love has meant to me through the years is what is important to me. Helping me get back up, without criticism but with love and guidance has always meant the world to me.
So, have you given any real thought to what your father means to you? How will you show it? How will you honor your father on Father's Day this year?
